New Jersey Legislature Re-drafting intra State Online Gambling
Having vetoed against the Intra state online gambling legislation because of some of the flaws in the bill New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, will be willing to accent to the legislation if it would be ammended.
The Republican governor recommended that the legislation, which had been approved by both the houses, to include a high tax rate on wins and a 10 year duration for trail duration period.
Members of both the Senate and the General assembly are now re- drafting a bill that will see Governor Chris Christie's recommendations put in consideration. According to one of the General Assembly house members, John Amodeo, the process of re-drafting was already in progress and the bill would contain a 10 year online gaming trail limit and has a 15% taxation rate in place.
Senate president, Stephen Sweeny, was of the opinion that online gambling is in the interest of re-establishing Atlantic City in the gambling map.
